Val Grande National Park

Val Grande National Park
The Val Grande National Park is a protected natural area, entirely included in the borders of the province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, in Piedmont, established in 1992 (and then expanded in 1998) to preserve the largest wild area in the Alps and 'Italy. The large extension of the territory without human settlements, the characteristics of the landscapes and the panorama offered by the Lepontine Alps make the park a popular destination for nature and trekking lovers.
